Delivery
Fresh cut sod on pallets, dropped at your address on the day we agree.
Residential
Residential sod in West Volusia, Seminole, Collier and parts of Lee. We deliver fresh cut Florida sod and install it, and we prep the ground first when the old lawn has to come out. Measure the area before you call and we can quote it properly instead of guessing.
What you get
Fresh cut sod on pallets, dropped at your address on the day we agree.
Our crew lays the sod, cuts clean edges and tidies up behind itself.
Old lawn removed, soil graded and leveled so the new sod roots instead of sitting on top.
We tell you which variety suits your sun, soil and watering, including when the cheap option is a mistake.
What to water, when to mow and what to leave alone for the first two weeks.
Grass choices
The Florida workhorse. Deep color, strong growth, proven here. Best for full sun and busy lawns.
Dense and fine bladed, wears well and handles heat. Good where you want a tighter lawn.
Fast to establish in full sun and quick to recover. Best for active yards.
Versatile with a fine texture and good recovery. A solid all rounder.
Cheap and tough, but be honest about it: it lays down in clumps, can fall apart at the edges, and turns brown in winter. It is dormant, not dead, and it comes back. Always calculate at least 10% extra for waste.
Measure
Fuel is expensive and a vague number wastes a trip for both of us. Ten minutes with a tape measure gets you a real quote.
Price
Bahia is the least expensive, Floratam and Zoysia sit above it. The variety you choose moves the number.
Square footage sets the pallet count and the labour. This is why we ask you to measure.
If the old lawn has to come out and the ground graded, that is extra work and extra time.
Fuel and drive time matter. Longer runs cost more, and we tell you before we book it.
Process
Aftercare
Water it in on day one and keep it damp through the first month. Morning is better than evening.
Use a fertilizer company you trust. New sod needs the right feeding at the right time, and the wrong product can set it back.
Do not mow for the first month. Let it root and grow, then cut high and keep the blade sharp.
Stay off it as much as you can while it roots. Check the seams and edges after watering; if a corner lifts, press it back down and water it again.
