Sod installation

Commercial and residential installation. On commercial sites we lay the sod where the plans or the client tell us to lay it. We do not do grade work or reshape the subgrade.

Grass types

Five varieties, matched to your site

Sun, soil, traffic and irrigation decide the grass. We will tell you which one will actually hold up.

Bahia

Tough and drought tolerant, but be honest with yourself about it: Bahia lays down in clumps, can fall apart at the edges, and turns brown in winter. It is dormant, not dead. Always calculate at least 10% extra sod for waste.

Low maintenance lawns and large commercial grounds

Floratam

The Florida workhorse. Deep color, strong growth, proven here.

Dense and fine bladed, wears well and handles heat.

What sod varieties do you deliver?
Bahia, Floratam, Zoysia, Bermuda and Pro Vista. We will recommend one based on sun, soil, traffic and how much watering you want to do.
Do you do residential work?
Yes, but only in West Volusia, Seminole County, Collier County and parts of Lee County. Commercial work and deliveries go further.
How do I measure my yard for a quote?
Break the lawn into rectangles and triangles, measure each in feet, multiply length by width for rectangles and half of base times height for triangles, then add them up. Send us the total square footage and photos, and we can quote from the office.
Do you install or only deliver?
Both. We deliver pallets for your crew, or our crews install for commercial and residential jobs. Sod prep is residential only.
How fast can you deliver?
It depends on the harvest and the route. Call with your square footage and address and we will give you the next available window.
Do you work with builders and general contractors?
That is most of our work. New construction, roadway and large commercial sites, scheduled around your other trades.
